Little Rock Air Show 2008

The 2008 Little Rock Air Force Base Air Show (Air Power Arkansas) was the best yet for 2008.

This base is home to the C-130 and what a show they put on. Just imagine 7 C-130's in trail formation loaded with over 350 paratroopers from Fort Bragg when they all jumped out. The airport was covered from one end to the other end with paratroopers floating down. We have it all on this DVD.

Other flight events included the Golden Knights, an airfield attack with an A-10 , including bomb runs and a Downed Pilot Rescue by helicopter. The C-17 Globe Master III, the F-16 and the C-130J gave excellent demos. Fat Albert made a JATO demo and the Blue Angels highlighted the ending.

2007 Air Shows

Nellis AFB-Las Vegas Air Show 2007 - Aviation Nation
Big time shows are in Las Vegas & the 2007 Nellis Air Force Base - Aviation Nation is always the biggest of them all!!! This year marked the 60th anniversary of the Air Force so they showed planes from WW I, WW II, The Korean War, Viet Nam to the present. After the THUNDERBIRDS flew their air demonstration show the newest fighter on the scene today - the F-22 Raptor gave a flight demo you won't believe. We added a special bonus flight demo that the F-22 flew on Friday when a dark cloud formed over Nellis AFB. This allowed us to capture the afterburner flame that you can't see in daylight. This was simply awesome!
Running time:  87 minutes    |     $29.95 + $5 S/H.

Wings Over Houston 2007

Once again we were selected to produce the “Official Video” for this show and what a show it was. Rain was forecasted but it never hit Ellington Field. Instead the heavy moisture in the air provided some amazing sights of vapor peeling off the jets as they made high speed passes down the runway for the huge crowd. One of the most impressive sights was made by the F/A-18 Super Hornet. As he flew down the crowd line he hit the right spot at the right speed and the water vapor made his airplane appeared to “blow up” and we got the shot! This is something you don’t see often so make sure you look for it! Other acts include the Jet Truck, the F-15E Strike Eagle, the AH-64 Apache, F-16’s making a high speed passes and of course the Tora, Tora, Tora reenactment of the Pearl Harbor Attack. With our new wide angle lens you will be able to see more of the bomb blasts. This is the premier act of the Commemorative Air Force and we have both Saturday and Sunday’s shows on the Official DVD. The Canadian Snowbirds flew as the final performance and flew a reduced performance show due to cloud cover. Despite the cloud cover and rain in the area we lucked out in that everybody got to fly for the crowd. And this show proved why it is rated in the Top 3 of all air shows in the USA.

Running time:  2hrs.    |     $29.95 + $5 S/H.

Aircraft recreated the Pearl Harbor attack with plenty of explosions to thrill the crowd. The Air Force Reserve jet car hit 350.6 MPH. Of course, the main event was the Blue Angels who, once again thrilled the crowd. We covered both days however a thunderstorm prevented the Blue Angels from flying on Sunday so we added in some of the nighttime shows & fireworks.

2006 WINGS OVER HOUSTON

As they say in Texas, “If you don’t like the weather just wait a couple of minutes and it will change”. The show on Saturday was put on hold until about noon when the rain stopped and the sky became CAVU (pilots talk for Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited). With clear skies in the afternoon the Tora! Tora! Tora! Act really gave the crowd a thrill with lots of bomb blasts as well as other WWII battles. Lots of closeup shots of the B-17, B-25, A-26, F4U Corsair, F-6F Hellcat, F-F8 Bearcat, TBM Avenger, the P-51, P-47 and all training aircraft used in WWII. Special Flight demos by the C-17 Globemaster III (got lost in the clouds on Saturday), F-4 Phantom, F/A-18 Hornet and the F-15 Eagle thrilled the crowd. Lots of high speed low level passes by the Houston National Guard in their F-16’s got everyone’s attention Sunday morning.

Civilian acts included Paul Fiala, Sean D. Tucker, Debbie Rihn Harvey, David Martin, Wyche Coleman and Gene Soucey. The Air Force Reserve’s Jet Car hit 376.5 MPH (Almost reaching the I-45 average speed). Of course everyone came to see the United States Air Force Demonstration Team, The Thunder Birds. With a low cloud cover on Saturday they flew their low show but with a high cloud cover on Sunday the huge crowd was treated to their “Unlimited” full show.

Because this was such a great show for air show fans to see we have put this on two DVD’s for your enjoyment. What couldn’t fly on Saturday flew on Sunday, even the flying lawn mower. Enjoy the show!

2006 DAYTON AIR SHOW   ~   July 29 & 30,

Dayton Ohio, the birthplace of Aviation, once again presented an outstanding air show. One of the newer air show acts to appear is a group of 4 Cobra Helicopters, calling themselves "The Sky Soldiers". They want to preserve the history of this helicopter in Viet Nam & showed the crowd a neat flying performance. We were also able to go up in a Huey & you will see this footage following the main program. A group of 4 F-16's from the Ohio National Guard opened the show with several fly-bys followed by a fly-by of a 1913 Wright Airplane. The Misty Blues, an all female ski diver team open the show with the flag drop. The Tora! Tora! Tora! Pearl Harbor Attack act presented once again a superior re-enactment with numerous ground explosions that kept everybody with video cameras on their toes. An un-announced "Wall of Fire" was set off at the end of their performance on Sunday that caught everybody by surprise, even the announcer, but by pure luck we had our camera rolling & got the huge blast on video for you to see. Other acts included the Jet Car that hit 400 MPH, Matt Chapman in his CAP 580 ( he lost out in his race against the jet car), The F-16 Fighting Falcon presented a great flight demo each day, and on Friday the water vapor coming off the wings was very exciting to see. The AV-8 Harrier flew & always proves to be a main attraction. The main event was the Blue Angels. The weather broke for the Sunday show so the Blues were able to present their full unlimited performance. Chalk up another great show for the Vectron Dayton Air Show.

New York AIR SHOW at Jones Beach 2006

We had a great weekend at the New York Air Show at Jones Beach. We took our cameras to the Thursday show when the weather was cloudy and cold with just a few people on the beach. You can compare this with the crowd on Saturday and the super large crowd that came out for the Sunday show in perfect air show weather. Pilot’s call that CAVU (Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited). Sunday's show was shot from in front of the Life Guard tower and from the water's edge. You will see parts of each day (Friday was fogged in), but what a show on Sunday! Our thanks to the Jones beach Air Show Staff for their kindness and helping hand.

Appearing:

David Windmiller, US Army Golden Knights, Warbirds fly bys with the B-17G, TBM, P-40, P-51, F-4U Corsair and the T-6. Flight Demos by the A-10, T-6 II, F-15, and the F-16. GIECO Sky Typers, Bill Reesman in the Red Bull Mig-17 with afterburner demo (Vietnam era), Ed Hamill in his AFR Dream Machine, Mike Mancuso/Klein Tools Extra 300 and the highlight of the show, The Blue Angels with Fat Albert, the C-130 Blue Angels support aircraft.

NAS Kingsville - Wings Over South Texas Air Show 2006

Beautiful but windy skies prevailed for the 2006 NAS Kingsville Wings Over South Texas Air Show. This video, available in VHS or DVD covers both Saturday and Sundays show. The show opened with a flag drop by the South Padre Island Jumpers from a restored C-47. This was followed by fly-by's of the T-45 Goshawk, T-44 Pegasus, TC-12 Huron and the T34 Mentor. Next up was the F-15 Eagle. His flight demo was just awesome. Other performers included Tim Weber in the Geico 300, Jan Colmer in the Extra 300, Paul Fiala in his Great Lakes Bi-Plane, a re-enactment of the Tora! Tora! Tora! bombing of Pearl Harbor, a special Mig-17 demo by Randy Ball and on Sunday, for the first time, the crowd was treated to seeing two M-17's in formation. Hubie Tolson gave a great demo in a Russian Sukhoi SU-26. But the crowd came to see the Blue Angels fly and with clear skies the Blues were able to fly their Unlimited Show in their FA/18 Hornets. On Sunday the Cessna 337 Skymaster gave a great flight demo. This aircraft is called the push-pull aircraft because it has one engine on the front pulling and one in the rear pushing. This aircraft was used in Vietnam and provided key strikes for our ground troops. This video presents the best of both days.

NAS JRB FORT WORTH "TEXAS THUNDER" AIR SHOW

"Thunder Over Texas" The 2006 NAS Fort Worth Airshow featuring the Blue Angels, was flown in perfect airshow weather. Always a great show to see. We were invited to go up in the Army’s F-27 and video the Golden Knights Flag Drop. The video taken from inside this aircraft shows the jumper falling away and opening the chute. A great view to see it from. This years show featured an air strike by two Squadrons of F/A-18’s who blew up the west side of the field with a huge “Wall of Fire”. A C-130 demonstrated in-flight refueling of two F/A-18’s while another C-130 dropped paratroopers to secure the field.
Other acts included Les Shockley’s new and more powerful Super Shockwave Jet Truck, Jan Colmer, Sean Tucker, and Bob Cariton in a jet powered sailplane, the Accu-Check Laser 230 Flight for Diabetes and of course, The Blue Angels with a plane side interview with Blue Angels #6, Lt. NAS Pensacola 2005 Blue Angels Special

Chalk up another great show for the season ending Blue Angel 2005 Homecoming Air Show at NAS Pensacola. We've got a special 2 DVD set (or VHS) that will keep you glued to your TV set. For starters, the Navy held a night air show that included Fat Albert making a night JATO take off, plus some fancy night flying with aircraft out-fitted with roman candles & leaving a trail of fire behind them. A night bombing raid by stealth bombers blew up the ramp area with spectacular explosions. This was followed by a fireworks show to close out the night show. The next day was your ideal day for an airshow. We had a case of severe clear & calm wind. Flights demos were performed by the F/A Super Hornet, the A-10 with bombing runs, and a rare showing of the newest fighter in the USAF - a pair of F-22 Raptors flew by in afterburner. WOW! The Red Barons, the FireBirds, Jan Collmer, Otto - The Helicopter and a special demo by a beautiful F-86 wowed the crowd, but of course the main attraction were the Blue Angels who performed their Unlimited Show for the crowd. Last, but not least as they say, we will treat you to our ride in an open cockpit airplane - a PT-17 Stearmen. You just gotta order this DVD. 3 hrs of exciting flying on 2 DVD's.

I LOVE AIRPLANE NOISE - VOL 2  THE WARBIRDS

There's music in the air, but this kind of music is what lovers of those big prop warbirds love to hear, The sweet sound of a P-51 Mustang at full throttle doing 350 mph, 50 feet above the runway or the chug, chug sound of the 2800 Pratt and Whitney engine on a b_29. Warbirds, as we now call our WWII aircraft, are slowly fading away. Some are no longer flying due to crashes or lack of spare parts.

Fortunately we have been able to video tape many war bird air shows and now we present in this video a great collection of war birds, some of which are no longer flying, such as the P-82, the Twin Mustang, and the B-26. Also included are the B-24, B-25, B-29, B17E, B-17G, A-20, A-26, the English Shackleton, the P-38, P-39, P-40, P-63, P-47, P-51, F-4U Corsair, TBM Avenger, Wildcat, Hellcat and Bearcat, PBY, Dauntless Dive Bomber, Hell Diver, T-6, Spitfire, C-46 and C-47 Gooney Bird. Enjoy the Sounds!
